Dat GUI tho

The browser console is an indispensable web development tool. You can preview copy changes, redefine variables, and execute JavaScript without editing / reloading code.

But for visual tasks, like selecting a background color or changing font sizes, a GUI is more efficient, enabling you to iterate much faster.

That’s why I’m jazzed about dat.gui from Google’s Creative Lab. With it you can create quick & dirty GUIs that dynamically change JavaScript variables and DOM elements.

Try it out for yourself. I think dat.gui has a lot of potential as a prototyping and teaching tool.
